February TUSAL

This month I have filled my ort jar a bit more. I still am not moving as fast as I would like through my WIPs.

January - Totally Useless SAL (TUSAL) & PhotoHunt

It's time to share the contents of  my Ort jar. I started with an empty jar on January 1st  and have not done as much stitching as I would have liked.You can see some whites and greens. Since my first project of the year was a Christmas Tree ornament I have lots of green orts. I look forward to seeing how many colors I can add by the next update.

This Saturday's Photo Hunt subject  is Fluffy. I have many wonderful pictures of clouds but looked at my ort jar and realized that the threads within are very fluffy.

Totally Useless Stitch-A-Long (TUSAL)

I have occasionally seen people posting pictures of their ort (old ratty threads) jars with the acronym TUSAL. I finally know what it means. It looks like fun. If you are interested go to DaffyCat's Totally Useless Stitch-A-Long to signup.

In this SAL you get to take pictures of your ORT jar each month and post it on your blog to share with the other participants. Here is my ORT jar at the end of 2011.

I ceremoniously emptied it and here it is ready to be refilled in 2012.
