When I think of 'Colours' regardless of the spelling my mind always goes to the wide range of colours available for us to use in our stitching and how to go about selecting the ones I want to use. In February on the Nuts about Needlepoint Blog Janet Perry reviewed Gail Callahan's Color Grid. If you are interested in reading the review you can find it here. Next to it is my colorful Ort jar showing samples of the colors I have been using this year.
Wow, that's a lot of colourful threads! I've always had two thumbs when it comes to sewing, but keep thinking maybe I'll try it again and see if I've become less clumsy in my old age! lol
ReplyDeleteI do that too. Collect threads that I snipped of at the end of a stitching. My boys thinks that is a weird collection. :
ReplyDeleteDrop by for some colours.

I used to stitch a lot when I was much younger. Now with poor eyesight, I have to stop stitching. The color grid is a useful tool.
