Cancer Hearts
My ANG chapter does a outreach project where we make hearts for cancer patients. In May I completed my first heart and now I have now completed my second. For each heart I have selected a specific stitch from one of my iphone stitching reference books. I have two: Suzy's Portable Stitches and iStitches. For this heart I used Caron Watercolours in Emerald on 18ct. green mono canvas. I used a stitch called the Charlotte stitch. I chose Emerald because green is the color of good fortune. The next heart may be in Carribean Blue to promote serenity. I find this is a great way to try out new stitches so I will have to browse my online resources and pick a new stitch to use.
